Stephan embarked on his culinary odyssey at the International Chef & Hotel Management School in Copenhagen, Denmark, graduating with a master’s degree in culinary art combined with Management in 1991. Complementing this, he pursued private courses in psychology, food science, and people skills from 1986 to 1988. A commitment to continuous learning led him to diverse culinary arts and chef training programs in the US, France, Germany, and Belgium from 1988 to 1992.
Professional Journey:
Steeped in a rich 5-star international hotel background, Stephan has left an indelible mark on esteemed brands such as Centara, Sofitel, Starwood, and Kempinski. Leading brigades ranging from 70 to 350 employees in his kitchen department, he honed his skills in fine dining restaurants and luxury properties across Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
With a penchant for culinary innovation, Stephan seamlessly blends Nordic, local, and Oriental ingredients, drawing inspiration from diverse traditions. Over two decades of perfecting his craft, he directed culinary operations in 12 countries across four continents.

Stephan has prepared numerous private dinner parties for Mr. Jorgen Qviste, private lawyer to the Queen of Denmark, and numerous state dinners for high-profile events, serving dignitaries such as the King & Queen of Thailand, the Queen of Denmark, the Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin, the Polish President, the Slovenian Prime Minister, the Prime Minister of Spain, to mention a few.
As a development specialist, Stephan excels in implementing strategic change, emphasizing creative and innovative culinary concepts. His achievements extend to setting up F&B operational procedures, financial management enhancement, and the development of training programs for menus, dish design, and costing.
